Purposely Vulnerable Virtual Machines

Developed virtual machines designed to be pen-tested for education resources.

These virtual machines were deployed in a custom-built cyber range with Curtin University, and were used for students to practice on for the Penetration Testing and Defence unit.

Australian STEM Video Game Challenge

Developed a video game that won the Australian STEM Video Game Challenge.

I built the game in my early high-school years using GameMaker. This was my first exposure to programming. I still consider this my peak of my career.
Virtualised Industrial Control Systems - ICS-SimLab
[2024 Feb - 2025 Nov]
Developed custom software (called ICS-SimLab) to simulate Industrial Control Systems using containerisation.
This environment simulated:
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Sensors
- Actuators
- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Modules
We simulated 3 different control systems using this software. The primary purpose of this software was to simulate cyber-attacks on a simulated SCADA system and to collect network data to build an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) using modern AI techniques.
This project was published in IEEE.
