Abstract

ICS-SimLab is a configurable software framework for simulating Industrial Control Systems (ICS) in a safe virtual environment using Docker. It was designed to help researchers build and test ICS-specific intrusion detection systems (IDS) across multiple industrial architectures without relying on real operational systems. The framework includes several example simulations and can generate both benign and malicious network traffic datasets for cybersecurity research.
